How to prepare files for printing:
Accepted and recommended format: PDF
- All fonts converted to outlines or properly embedded.
- Resolution: 300–350 dpi.
- Bleed and inner margins: 3 mm each.
- Crop marks placed outside the bleed area.
- All artwork in CMYK.
- No transparency: PDF 1.3 (Acrobat 4.0) (set during export).
- No overprints (disable during export).
Accepted and recommended format: TIFF
- Scale 1:1.
- Resolution: 300–350 dpi.
- Bleed and inner margins: 3 mm each.
- No layers – flattened file.
- Recommended compression: LZW.
Not recommended format: PSD (save as PDF or TIFF if possible)
- Scale 1:1.
- Resolution: 300–350 dpi.
- Bleed and inner margins: 3 mm each.
- Color mode: CMYK.
- Fonts rasterized.
- No layers – flattened file.
Not recommended format: CDR (save as PDF or TIFF if possible)
- All fonts converted to outlines.
- Resolution: 300–350 dpi.
- Bleed and inner margins: 3 mm each.
- Save as version X6 or lower.
Formats not allowed for digital printing
- JPG, PNG – treated only as preview/reference files.
- DOC, XLS.
Digital materials:
Materials can be delivered to the printing house over the Internet (copied to the ftp server), portable disc (CD, CD DVD, Flash USB) Login and password provided by the printing house employee.
